Trolls Poppy birthday cake

One of my favourite clients called with a request for a Trolls themed cake. The movie hadn’t been released yet but it was due to start just before her daughter’s birthday. I used the various trailers I found online to get inspiration for this cake design.

The top tier was done to look like the hair for a whole group of trolls. The bottom was inspired by Poppy’s scrapbooking of their journey to save the trolls. The Poppy cake toppers was all handmade out of fondant and I have to admit, I love love love my Poppy! When I finally got to see the movie, I was very proud of my cake.
